Recently my class, Te Wairua Pakiki 4 (TWP4) have been doing Science. Here is another activity on Science. We wrote about Sauropods. Sauropods are dinosaurs that have really long necks and have four legs. We made a scale to see compare the sauropod to an elephant and a seal. Then we also did a little bit about them and where they lived. Here is my activity!

Krystal - How Māui slowed the Sun

Today I finished of my art. We watched a story of how Māui slowed the sun by Peter Gossage.  After we watched the video our teacher made us watch another video of weaving, on paper. After we learnt how to weave we had to pick two colours of six. The colours were red, orange, white and orange-ish. Then our teacher gave us all a part of the story, then draw it on our paper. After we drew a part of the story we had to outline with a vivid. Here is the story. Here is my picture.

Krystal - Kiwi Tag Tournament

On Friday the 26th March 2021, my class Te Wairua Pakiki 4 (TWP 4) and Te Wairua Pakiki 6 (TWP 6) had a tag competition against Sylvia Park. Our class only had two boys team and one girls team. This was hosted by Eastern Zone Kiwi Tag. We had to make sure everyone was on the bus, so we wouldn't leave anyone behind. Once we put our bags and stuff on the bus. We hopped off the bus, went onto the field and set up the tent's and the big blue gazebo. We did some warm-ups, because it was a little cold and to practice our passing. The first game was the boys team against each other. It was the boys A team against the boys B team. The boys A team won their first game. The score was 3 - 2. Then it was our girls team versus Sylvia Park. Sylvia Park won the first game 1 - 4. Then it was the boys B team against Panmure District School. The game was a draw 2 - 2. It was the girls again versing Sylvia Park. Sylvia Park won another game 0 - 3. The boys A team against Sylvia Park. Sylvia Park won by 2 points, 2 - 4. Then it was us girls again. Versing only Sylvia Park. Sylvia Park won by 4 points 0 - 4. This game was the boys last game against Parnell School. They won by 3 points 0 - 3. This was our last game, but instead of tag it was Turbo Touch. Instead of touching it was ripping off the tags. This game was a good game. After that we all changed and waited about 40 minutes for the bus to arrive. During that time we were rolling down the hill and playing touch.

Here are some photo's, and the rules for the game.
