WALT: Analyse media with an open but critical eye, to tell our own opinions. 

Today for Inquiry, we TWP 4 (Te Wairua Pakiki 4) read an article about Worlds Ocean Day. Worlds Ocean Day is about the sea and how people should treat it. My class and I did a little activity on Worlds Ocean Day. We did a google drawing with key words and key pictures. We also did an activity about questions for you to answer and for words that we don't know. Here is my activity!

Glossary:

Gulfs - Gulf is a portion that penetrates the land.

Continent - Continent is a land that is on one of the tectonic plates.

Essential - Something that is important.


Pg 29 Questions:

What do the scientists divide the ocean into?

What is the uppermost layer, or one closest to the surface, called?


Glossary:

Climates - Climates are the weather conditions.

Replenished - Replenished is to fill something up again.

Sustainably - In a way that can be maintained at a certain rate or level.
