Krystal - Converting decimals to a fraction (2)

Today for Maths, I have finished another activity of converting decimals to a fraction. Yesterday, my teacher helped us understand a little bit more about it. She told us to find the common factors of the number first, or make a place value chart. Then find the factors of that number. If the decimal was 0.34, the fraction would be 34/100. Then you can find factors of 34 and 100. Here is my activity!

Krystal - Decimals and Fractions

Today for Maths, I did an activity that involves decimals and fractions. For the decimals, I just had to put the decimals in order. Here is an equation for you to put in order, 1.5, 5.9, 9.2, 8.4, 3.7, 7.9. For the fractions, I just had to find out what 1/3 of 72 was, or what 2/3 of 54 was. I just had to find the fraction of the number. Here is my activity!

Krystal - Ordering Decimals up to 2 Decimal Places

Today for Maths, the past two weeks my class and I have been working on decimals. Today I am going to teach you of how to order decimals up to two decimal places. It is just like counting up in order from one to ten. The question is 1.24, 1.35, 3.45 and 5.68. If there is a questions like 1.24 and 1.35, then you have to figure out the next number. The next numbers would be two and three. Which one is smaller two or three? Obviously two, so the answer is 1.24, 1.35, 3.45, 5.68. Here is my activity!

Ordering decimals up to 3 digits

Today in Maths we were doing decimal places. I had to make a table with a ones column, decimal point, tenths, hundredths and thousandths. I just counted to ten for the easy questions. if its 0.2 and 0.5, 0.2 is the smallest because 0.5 is bigger than 0.2. Check out my blog down below!
