On Wednesday Room 3 and Room 5 went to Te Oro. When we got to Te Oro we took
off our shoes. Then one of the host’s said when they sing the welcome song we walk in slowly.
Then when they stop we sit down. So they were singing the welcome song then we walked in like
what one of the host’s said. Then Whaea Jacks told us a story. Then the host’s said that they were
gonna split us into three groups. So the groups were painting, drawing and weaving so I was in the
painting and drawing group. So in my group the first thing we did was Pikopiko. Then we did a Koru
then the last thing we did was Mangopare. Then after all the people did there work we all went down
to the middle to explain why we drew or made this. So only three people from each group. So after
all that explaining we all formed a square to sing a song with actions the song was called Macarena
so after we sang the song and did the actions with it we all said bye then we all put on our socks and
shoes. Then we all went back to school.
