Krystal, Monique and Vince - Rātā Tree
Today in TWP (Te Wairua Pakiki), we are learning about New Zealand native trees. This is important because, the trees are the tagata whenua which connects to Tāne Mahuta. In this activity we had to match ourselves up with another person. It was the year 5's together with the year 8's, then the year 6's and 7's together. We were put into 18 groups of three or two, it was Monique, Vince and I. We had to discuss what our group name was going to be. We decided to learn more about the rātā tree. We had to look up on google of what the Rātā leaves look like, the rātā flowers look like, the fruit/seeds look like and what the bark looks like. Here is our activity below!
